Born in Augusta, Georgia, I’m a proud Southern girl, a devoted mother to one amazing little boy (my little man 💛), and a businesswoman with a passion for turning memories into something you can taste. I attended The University of Alabama, where I double-majored in Digital Marketing and Family Studies ; two paths that naturally shaped the way I built my brand: with strategy, intention, and heart.

My baking journey began long before From Scratch Bakery ever had a name.

As a child, I spent countless moments in the kitchen with my late mother, learning the magic of homemade desserts—from cakes to pies, which were her specialty. Those memories became the foundation of everything I create today. In honor of her legacy, I officially launched From Scratch Bakery on her birthday, January 25, 2025, a full-circle moment rooted in love and purpose.

But the dream started even earlier.

At just 7 years old, I imagined owning a bakery called Sweet Tooth. I never could have imagined that childhood vision would grow into a brand that now allows me to share my Southern roots through flavor, creativity, and storytelling.

From Scratch Bakery is more than cookies, it’s a reflection of where I come from, who I am, and what I want people to experience when they take a bite. My goal is simple:

To bring flavors that leave a mark, set the tone, and remind you what homemade really feels like.
